🏫♟️ Chess Workshop at V/Nedunkerny Maha Vidyalayam ♟️🏫

Today, as per the kind request of the Principal of V/Nedunkerny Maha Vidyalayam, the Vavuniya District Chess Association (VDCA) conducted a Chess Awareness Workshop for the students of the school. This session aimed to introduce the fundamentals of chess, promote critical thinking, and spark interest in the sport among young minds.

As part of our ongoing school outreach initiative, five chessboards were officially donated to the school's chess club, with the hope of encouraging regular practice and nurturing new talent within the school community.

We are pleased to note the keen interest shown by the students and deeply appreciate the supportive involvement of the Principal and the teacher-in-charge of sports in promoting chess at the grassroots level.

VDCA remains committed to expanding chess education throughout the district and empowering students with the strategic and intellectual benefits that chess offers.
